While there, he opened San Antonio Karate Academy from 2019-2023. Many of Master Estrada's students from Abilene Karate and San Antonio Karate Academy have successfully opened their own studios in their communities and continue to train under his tutelage today.

In 2021, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, he opened Rising Phoenix Tang Soo Do in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he provides leadership and martial arts training from afar to the students of Rising Phoenix. What our students are saying...

I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Master Estrada for 11 years and counting. His experience and depth and breadth of martial arts knowledge combined with his thorough understanding of physical anatomy results in such a high level of instruction, that any opportunity I get to work, train and learn from Dr. Estrada is an invaluable experience. His knowledge is topped only by his willingness to share that knowledge to help others grow. Master Estrada's instruction and approach to the art as a wholistic endeavor has helped me to reshape and simultaneously broaden and refine my approach to both learning and teaching the martial arts. I am grateful for Sir and his dedication to his students and the art.

I initially started my Tang Soo Do journey with the intention of pursuing any form of martial arts. Tang Soo Do has helped me gain so much confidence and inner strength. When I switched schools to OKIMA, I saw my Tang Soo Do improving, through the guidance of my excellent instructor and mentor. We're like a big happy family here and it's something I am very grateful to have.

Ash Short Instructor Trainee - CIT

I thought martial arts was just for kids; however, this studio caters to all ages and stages. Tang Soo Do has helped me gain strength and more agility than I had in my life. Anyone can do it! Love the instructors!
